According to the information received, the minimum fare to travel in auto has increased from Rs 20 to Rs 50. The authority has reduced slabs of fare per kilometer of a city bus from 16 to 8 this time. According to the City Bus Union, the fare has been increased by an average of 2 to 5 rupees according to the rates fixed by the STA.

It is also being said that STA has fixed the new rates. It will be implemented from Wednesday i.e. today, the morning of 19 February. It is being speculated that despite the implementation of the new rates, there will not be much burden of fare on passengers. Due to the manner in which the prices of oil and the goods of vehicles are increasing, it was necessary to increase the rates of fares. City bus operators have breathed a little relief from the rates the transport department has increased.
