Vodafone customers can get a one-year extended warranty on the newly launched Vivo X50 series smartphones. The smartphone comes with an in-built gimbal for super-steady videos and is priced at 49,990. You can check out our review of the Vivo X50 Pro

Vivo is offering a year’s warranty on this smartphone and to top that, Vodafone is offering a one year additional warranty more.

However, there is a slight catch. To avail this extended warranty, users will have to buy the newly added prepaid plan for 819, according to TelecomTalk.

Both the Vivo X50 and the Vivo X50 Pro are both eligible for the offer and customers will have to register within the first 30 days of purchasing the smartphone.

To register, customers need to go to the Vodafone website and click on the offer. The offer page has a registration from that will need to be filled up. Post this, the customer needs to buy the 819 prepaid plan. Once the recharge is done, the new extended warranty on the Vivo X50 and the Vivo X50 Pro will be available to them.

This offer is available across the country but no other Vivo smartphone is covered by the plan besides the X50 series.

Also, before you recharge your phone with the 819 plan, you need to make sure you are eligible for the offer. To check that you need to send an SMS – VIVOEW – to 199. Once you are approved, you can buy the 819 plan and get the extended warranty.

The 819 prepaid plan comes with a 84-day validity and offers unlimited data at 2GB per day at high speeds, post 2GB you get data at reduced speeds till the day ends. There is also unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day.

With this plan, customers will also get OTT benefits like Vodafone Play worth 499, ZEE5 Premium worth 999 and Idea Movies and TV for one year.
