Riot Games, developer behind the popular League of Legends, is now working on a new game for mobile users. Dubbed as League of Legends: Wild Rift, the game is said to release in alpha stage in select markets such as Brazil and Philippines. The roll-out is expected to begin in June.

According to Dexetro, Riot Games has also shared the key specifications needed to play the upcoming game. Users will need 1.5GB of RAM or above, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and Andreno 306 GPU or above. The requisite specifications cover almost all phones including budget ones. For iPhone users, the requirement is minimum iPhone 6 and above to play the League of Legends: Wild Rift.

“We’re aiming to make the game available to as many devices as we can while not compromising on Wild Rift’s core gameplay,” developers are quoted as saying.

The details come shortly after Riot Games accidently made the game live on Google Play Store. The developers later fixed the error.

“We’ve also seen reports that push notifications have been sent out to some players saying that the game is available. We’re still tracking down the source of where this is happening, but to be clear: the game is not available yet, so please don’t download anything fishy! Thanks to everyone that helped us troubleshoot so far,” Riot Games said in a message to its users.

Wild Rift will also be available on consoles. It’s likely to compete with PUBG Mobile as well as Call of Duty: Mobile.
